Something New
With life as Ellen and I have known it for the last 11 years about to change in a dramatic way I awoke this morning and decided to start a blog to share with our family and friends. At the same time I figure it will be fun for our kid(s) to be able to look back at their childhood in a richer way than a photo album can offer with some narration from their parents.

We plan to find out the gender of the baby when we first lay eyes on that sweet nugget. We have picked out some names. Girls name seems to be set with Audrey. This is a beautiful family name from the Kelly clan. Still thinking about middle names. The boys name list includes Max, Jonah, Julian, Ethan, Evan, Owen. And the early nickname favorites are Nugget coined by my Dad and Pumpkin from Ellen's family.

A baby is not all that we have been growing this summer. We made a raised garden bed in the back yard and had mild success mainly with lettuce, kale, and basil. I'm looking forward to improving the garden next summer. And also looking forward to having this view from inside the house once the new sliding glass door is installed. Cousin Pat is making the trek from Wisconsin to put his magic carpentry touch on our abode!
